Stanley Glacier Hike (3-4 hours)
This hiking journey through Kootenay National Park provides breathtaking perspectives of the grand Stanley Glacier. As we kick off our adventure, we'll navigate a trail recently affected by a wildfire, granting us impressive vistas of Vermilion Pass, a key mountain passage linking Kootenay and Banff National Parks.
Our path will lead us past the majestic heights of Mount Stanley and Storm Mountain until we encounter the stunning "land of rock and ice" to witness the magnificent Stanley Glacier. Along the way, we’ll explore the intriguing wildlife endemic to this region.
We will then return to the starting point before providing transport back to your original location.
Departure days: This tour occurs on Thursdays and Sundays at 8 am.
Larch Valley Hike (4-5 hours)
Embark on this journey through the beautiful valley surrounding the Ten Peaks and Moraine Lake, where we will climb the renowned Larch Valley, navigating its celebrated ten bends before reaching a breathtaking larch forest.
As we ascend Sentinel Pass toward the Minnestimma lakes, we will discuss the unique characteristics of the landscape, culminating in spectacular views of the Ten Peaks, Moraine Lake, and Mount Temple.

Consolation Lake Hike (3-4 hours)
Our excursion begins with a trek through the enchanting valley of the Ten Peaks, surrounding the idyllic Moraine Lake. As we follow this scenic route, we will be mesmerized by awe-inspiring sights while exploring lovely forest paths that lead us to Consolation Lake. Along this journey, the view of Fay Glacier atop Mount Babel will leave a lasting impression. Our return will take us back over Moraine Lake and up to the summit of Rockpile for even more spectacular scenes.
