Albufeira Scuba Diving Introduction

At 1:45 pm, we'll meet at the dive center in the Albufeira Marina. The instructor will conduct a brief theory lesson, followed by completing a simple questionnaire. After that, we will move to confined waters to take on the diving equipment.

In the pool, you will learn how to wear the diving gear and practice basic exercises necessary for diving in open water. Skills include emptying your mask, using an emergency regulator, and communicating underwater.

After completing the exercises, we will head to the harbor and board a boat to the selected dive site. We’ll dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters for about half an hour, exploring the seabed of Albufeira and observing local marine life.

When air supplies indicate it's time, we will return to the boat and head back to the dive center, arriving at 5:30 pm.

Important

After the last dive, wait at least 24 hours before flying or going to high altitudes. The activity may be cancelled or adjusted due to adverse weather conditions.
