Benagil Cave, Algar Seco, & Praia da Marinha Day Trip

With this day trip, you'll enjoy the stunning landscapes of the Seven Hanging Valleys Trails by visiting the Algar Seco, the Benagil Cave, and the Praia da Marinha.

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Albufeira for a 40-minute transfer to Algar Seco. Upon arrival, you'll see formations carved by the sea and wind, including natural pools and hidden caves like the Gruta da Boneca, also known as the "Window to the Sea." This site offers a great opportunity for photos.

After 45 minutes at Algar Seco, we'll continue to Benagil, a 15-minute journey, where we will admire the Benagil Cave from above. The cave's top opening allows light to create a stunning display of ochre reflections, but we won't enter the cave itself. Its formation dates back over 20 million years.

After 45 minutes here, we will head to the Seven Hanging Valleys Trails, a 2.17 mi (3.5 km) route noted for its scenic beauty with steep cliffs, natural arches, and coves.

We will conclude our day trip at Praia da Marinha, known for its beauty. You'll have 45 minutes to 1 hour of free time to relax, explore, or enjoy the landscape, including swimming.

Finally, after 5 to 5.5 hours, we will return to your hotel and say our goodbyes.
