At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Albufeira and travel northwest to Silves, approximately a 30-minute journey.

Upon arrival, we'll explore the historic center and discover the Moorish influences of the ancient capital of the Algarve. We'll begin with the exterior of Silves Castle, a well-preserved Moorish fortress dating back to the 8th century. Nearby, we'll visit the Cathedral, a Gothic-style building constructed over the remains of an ancient mosque.

Next, we’ll proceed to Caldas de Monchique, known for its hot springs and stunning scenery. Here, we will experience the serene atmosphere that attracted the Romans.

Afterwards, we’ll visit the Fóia de Monchique, the highest peak in the Algarve. This stop will provide opportunity for memorable photographs of the surrounding valleys and, if conditions permit, views of the Atlantic Ocean.

We will conclude the excursion at approximately 1 pm with your return to the hotel.
