Tour of Algarve Wineries

In this winery tour in the Algarve, you will discover the vineyards of southern Portugal and taste its aromatic wines.

Description

When booking, you can choose to visit 1 or 2 wineries in the Algarve. Both options include hotel pickup and drop-off, transport, and an English-speaking guide.

Visit to 1 winery (4-5 hours)

We'll pick you up at your hotel at the indicated time to start this winery tour in the Algarve. The region's climate and clay soils contribute to the high quality of its wines. On the way to the winery, we'll briefly stop in the village of Silves for a stroll.

At the Quinta do Frances winery, we'll tour the facilities and learn about the wine production process. The visit includes a tasting of 3 wines. Afterward, you will have free time to explore the vineyards and visit the shop.

Visit to 2 wineries (7 hours)

After hotel pickup, we will head to the Paxa winery for a vineyard and facilities tour, followed by a wine tasting with an aperitif on its terrace. Then, we will have 2 hours of free time in the historic town of Silves for lunch.

After meeting again, we will proceed to the Quinta do Frances winery for another guided tour of their wine production. The tour concludes with a tasting of 3 wines, followed by free time to walk through the vineyards, visit the shop, and take photos.
