Tour of Algarve Wineries

In this winery tour in the Algarve, we will explore the unique aspects of the vineyards of southern Portugal and taste its aromatic wines.

Description

When booking, you can select to visit either 1 or 2 wineries in the Algarve. Both options include hotel pickup and drop-off, transport, and an English-speaking guide.

Visit to 1 winery (4-5 hours)

We will pick you up at your hotel at the scheduled time to commence the winery tour in the Algarve. The region's climate and clay soils contribute to the high quality of its wines. On the way to the winery, there will be a brief stop in the village of Silves for a stroll through its cobbled streets.

The visit includes the Quinta do Frances winery, where you will learn about the winemaking process and enjoy a tasting of 3 wines. There will be free time to explore the vineyards and visit the shop.

Visit to 2 wineries (7 hours)

After hotel pickup, we will first visit the Paxa winery for a tour of the vineyards and facilities, followed by a wine tasting with an aperitif on the terrace. You will then have 2 hours of free time in the historic town of Silves for lunch.

Following lunch, we will proceed to the Quinta do Frances winery for a guided tour of their production process and a tasting of 3 wines. Afterward, enjoy free time to walk through the vineyards, visit the shop, and take pictures.
