Tour of Algarve Wineries

In this winery tour in the Algarve, you will discover the vineyards of southern Portugal and taste its aromatic wines.

Description

When booking, you can choose to visit 1 or 2 wineries in the Algarve. Both options include hotel pickup and drop-off, transport, and an English-speaking guide.

Visit to 1 winery (4-5 hours)

We'll pick you up at your hotel at the indicated time to start this winery tour in the Algarve. Due to its climate and clay soils, the Algarve's vines are protected from the cold north, producing high-quality wines. On the way to the winery, we'll make a brief stop in the village of Silves for a stroll through its cobbled streets.

We'll then visit the Quinta do Frances winery to see their facilities and learn about the wine production process. At the end of the visit, we'll do a tasting of 3 wines. After the tasting, you'll have some free time to explore the vineyards and visit the shop.

Visit to 2 wineries (7 hours)

After hotel pickup, we'll head to the Paxa winery for a tour of the vineyards and facilities, accompanied by a wine tasting with an aperitif on the terrace overlooking the vineyards.

Next, we will visit the historic town of Silves, where you’ll have 2 hours of free time for lunch at one of its restaurants.

After regrouping, we’ll go to the Quinta do Frances winery for a guided tour of their wine production. Following this, we will have a tasting of 3 wines and then some free time to walk through the vineyards, visit the shop, and take pictures.
