Description
We'll meet at the Alcocéber Tourist Office and set off on our excursion to Morella, uncovering the town's charm.
The road trip to Morella lasts about one hour and fifteen minutes. Upon arrival, we'll begin a guided tour of the city. At the mountain's summit, we'll see the monumental Morella Castle and the town, surrounded by ancient defensive walls.
As we explore Morella on foot, we'll walk through archways, grand manors, boutiques, and the fortified gates. Entering through the iconic San Miguel Gate, we’ll reach the town's center.
We will visit the Town Hall, a significant fifteenth-century building, and stop at a Miel Guimerá store to taste products and buy souvenirs if desired.
Next, we’ll explore the Basilica of Santa María la Mayor, noted for its Gothic architecture. Inside, we’ll tour the intricate details. Finally, there will be free time for lunch to experience local cuisine.
