Would you like to take a captivating journey back in time? Join us on an enriching excursion from Alcocéber to Peñíscola, where we'll wander through the enchanting streets of this beautiful town in Castellón, adorned by a majestic castle-fortress.

Description

We'll meet at the Alcocéber Tourist Office at the designated time to begin our excursion to Peñíscola. Prepare to explore one of Castellón's hidden gems!

With introductions complete, we'll embark on a half-hour road trip in our vehicle. Upon arrival, our guided tour of Peñíscola will start at Artillery Park, where we'll explore gardens featuring palm and olive trees, lavender, and native plants from the Sierra de Irta Natural Park.

Our journey continues to El Bufador, a hollow in the rocky landscape that captures the sounds of the sea. Next, we will visit the iconic Peñíscola Castle, also known as Papa Luna's Castle, a significant Mediterranean landmark with a rich history.

Following this, we'll explore the Casa de las Conchas, which has a compelling backstory. We'll also visit the Museum of the Sea, which honors Peñíscola's maritime heritage.

Five hours later, our excursion to Peñíscola will conclude as we return to the original meeting point in Alcocéber.
