On this exciting day trip to the Ebro Delta, you'll see the park's rice fields and enjoy a boat ride.
Description
Meet us at the Alcocéber Tourism Office to start the day trip to the Ebro Delta. After a one-hour boat ride, we will arrive at the Ebro Delta Natural Park, known for over 300 species of birds. We will walk through the park and discuss the key geological characteristics of the region.
We will share interesting facts, including the historical significance of the Delta salt flats and fishing trades before the rise of the rice industry in the late 19th century, highlighting that this is Catalonia's most humid region.
The day trip to the Ebro Delta concludes with a boat ride along the delta waters, where we can view Buda Island and the extensive rice fields. Keep an eye out for flamingos and seagulls.
We will return to Alcocéber after 5 hours of exploration.
