Meet at the Alcocéber Tourism Office to begin your day trip to the Ebro Delta. Prepare for a unique experience.
After a one-hour boat ride, you'll arrive at the Ebro Delta Natural Park, which is home to over 300 species of birds. A walk through the area will allow discussion of the key geological characteristics of the region.
Fun facts include that the Delta salt flats and fishing trades were historically significant before the rise of the rice industry in the 19th century. This area is also noted as Catalonia's most humid region.
Your day trip to the Ebro Delta will conclude with a relaxing boat ride along the delta waters, where you can see Buda Island and the large rice fields. Be alert for sightings of flamingos and seagulls!
After 5 hours of adventure, the trip will return to Alcocéber.
