At the appointed time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Alcamo. After a 1-hour drive, we'll arrive at our first destination, Erice. You will have 2 hours of free time to explore this medieval village, including the exterior of the Tower of Venus and the panoramic views of the Egadi Islands.

Next, we will head to the Trapani Salt Pans to observe the artisanal salt production. We will walk along the banks to see the mounds of salt and mills. The history of salt production in this area dates back to the 12th century, initiated by the Normans. We'll also visit the Salt Museum, a sensory experience that offers insight into this historic practice.

Finally, we will return to your hotel in Alcamo after 5.5 hours, concluding our day trip.
