Itinerary

Day 1: Addis Ababa

Meet at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, then transfer to your hotel in Addis Ababa for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Addis Ababa - Arba Minch

After breakfast, fly to Arba Minch. Visit Dorze Village for a guided tour and understand local daily life. Overnight at Hotel Paradise Lodge.

Day 3: Arba Minch - Arbore - Turmi

Depart for Turmi after breakfast, with a stop at Weyto to explore the Tsemai tribe. Arrive in Turmi, home to the Hamer tribe. Overnight at Buska Lodge.

Day 4: Turmi - Omorate - Turmi

Day trip to Omorate to visit the Dassanech tribe. Cross the Omo River and explore local traditions. Return to Turmi; if available, witness a Hamer tribal bull jumping ceremony. Overnight at Buska Lodge.

Day 5: Turmi - Nyangaton - Turmi

Visit Kangatan and the Nyangatom Tribe. Explore this farming town. Return to Turmi for the night at Buska Lodge.

Day 6: Turmi - Kara - Turmi

Travel to Kara to learn about their cultural practices. Return to Buska Lodge in Turmi for the night.

Day 7: Jinka - Mursi - Jinka

Visit the Mursi Tribe in Mago National Park, known for their lip plates. After lunch at your expense in Jinka, visit the village of Aari. Overnight at Jinka Resort Hotel.

Day 8: Jinka - Konso - Arba Minch

Road trip to Konso, exploring terraced villages and the fortified village of Gamole. Visit Lake Chamo for a birdwatching boat ride. Overnight at Paradise Lodge in Arba Minch.

Day 9: Arba Minch - Addis Ababa

Fly from Arba Minch to Addis Ababa. After dinner, transfer to Addis Ababa Bole International Airport for your return flight.
