Excursion to Cairo and the Pyramids of Giza

See the pyramids of Khufu, Khafra, and Menkaure, essential sites when visiting Egypt. The archaeological complex at Giza, near Cairo, will be captivating from the start.

Itinerary

We will pick you up from your hotel or at the Alexandria port in the morning to head towards Cairo.

Upon arrival, the tour will go directly to the Giza pyramids, located on the outskirts of the city. A guided exploration will take place at this historic site, which includes the pyramids and burial tombs of pharaohs Khufu, Khafra, and Menkaure. Visitors will learn about the mysteries still being investigated by Egyptologists. Adjacent to the pyramids is the renowned Sphynx of Giza, which holds its own secrets.

After touring the site, we will return to Cairo for a guided visit to the Cairo Egyptian Museum. Here, among numerous pharaonic artifacts, one notable item is the funeral mask of Tutankhamun, discovered by Howard Carter in 1922.

After lunch in central Cairo, we will visit the Coptic neighbourhood, a historically significant area of the city, highlighted by The Hanging Church, built over the old Babylonian fortress.

In the evening, we will return to Alexandria.
