Itinerary
We will pick you up from your hotel or at the Alexandria port in the morning to travel to Cairo.
Upon arrival, the tour proceeds to the Giza pyramids on the outskirts of the city for a guided exploration of this archaeological site, which includes the burial tombs of pharaohs Khufu, Khafra and Menkaure. Insights into their enduring mysteries will be provided, alongside a visit to the Sphynx of Giza.
After the pyramids, we’ll return to Cairo for a guided tour of the Egyptian Museum, which houses over 120,000 artifacts from five millennia of history, including sarcophagi, statues, mummies, and ritual objects reflecting ancient Egyptian life.
A lunch break will be taken in central Cairo, after which we will visit the Coptic neighbourhood, highlighting its notable monument, The Hanging Church, built over the old Babylonian fortress.
In the evening, we will return to Alexandria.
