For those with a craving for sweets, we invite you to join us at the Tower of Santa Catalina, within the Santa Barbara Castle, for a chocolate and turrón tasting experience.

Before enjoying these confections, you will embark on a journey through the rich history of chocolate and turrón, two cherished sweets of Alicante. Our guide will uncover the origins of turrón, a beloved Christmas treat crafted in Jijona and Villajoyosa, influenced by the region's Arab heritage.

During this event, you will learn about the ingredients and the intricate process of creation, and understand why turrón is significant during the holiday season. To cap off the experience, you will try three chocolates from Villajoyosa and two turrones from Jijona.

After a 45-minute session, our chocolate and turrón tasting event will come to an end, leaving us with a sweet taste in our mouths.
