Day Trip to Guadalest, Altea & Fuentes del Algar

On this day trip to Guadalest, Altea, and Fuentes del Algar we will explore these locations in the Valencian Community.

Day Trip Details

We will meet at Lonja del Pescado in Alicante and take a bus to Guadalest. This 60km journey will lead us to the Guadalest reservoir.

After one hour, we will arrive in Guadalest for a guided tour to explore its history and landmarks such as San José Castle, the baroque church, and Town Hall Square. Additionally, visitors can explore various museums, including the Museum of Microminiatures and the Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum, during free time.

Next, after a 30-minute bus ride, we will arrive in Altea. A tour of the historical center will highlight the white houses and Consuelo Church. Post-tour, there will be free time for sightseeing or dining along the beach.

Afterwards, we will head to Fuentes del Algar, a site known for its waterfalls and biodiversity, designated as a Protected Wetland Area. Here, you will have free time to enjoy the springs.

Upon completing the 11-hour trip, we will return to Alicante.

Itinerary Adjustments

Between October 2024 and March 2025, the order of visits will change, starting with Fuentes de Algar, then Guadalest, and finally Altea. There will be a rest stop in Benidorm during bus journeys from and to Alicante.
