Day Trip to Guadalest, Altea & Fuentes del Algar

On this day trip to Guadalest, Altea, and Fuentes del Algar, we will explore significant locations in the Valencian Community.

Day Trip Details

We'll meet at Lonja del Pescado in Alicante and take a bus to Guadalest, located 60km away. After an hour, we will arrive at this medieval village for a guided tour, highlighting the San José Castle, the baroque church, and Town Hall Square. Free time will be available to visit various museums, including the Museum of Microminiatures and others.

Next, we will travel for 30 minutes to Altea. We will tour the historical center's narrow cobbled streets, and visit the Consuelo Church. Following this, you will have free time to explore, walk along the beach, and dine at local restaurants with Mediterranean views.

Subsequently, we will head to Fuentes del Algar, known for its waterfalls and biodiversity. You will have free time to swim in the springs. After this 11-hour trip, we will return to Alicante.

Itinerary Adjustments

Between October 2024 and March 2025, the trip order will adjust to maximize daylight: starting with Fuentes de Algar, then Guadalest, and concluding in Altea. There will be a rest stop in Benidorm during the journey from Alicante to Fuentes del Algar and from Altea back to Alicante.
