Guadalest, Altea & Fuentes del Algar Day Trip

On this day trip to Guadalest, Altea, and Fuentes del Alga, we will explore key sites in the Valencian Community.

Day Trip Details

We'll meet at the Alacant bus stop to board a bus to Guadalest. This 60 km journey will take us an hour, where we will arrive at the medieval village. A guided tour will cover the San José Castle, a fortress with stunning views, the baroque church, and the Town Hall Square. Guadalest also features numerous exhibitions, such as the Museum of Microminiatures, the Microgiant Museum, the Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum, and the Ethnological Museum, which can be visited during free time.

Afterward, we will travel for half an hour to Altea for a tour of the historical center with its narrow cobbled streets. Highlights include the iconic white houses, Consuelo Church, and local viewpoints. Free time will be provided to explore, relax on the beach, and sample local cuisine.

Next, we will head to Fuentes del Algar, a natural site known for its waterfalls and biodiversity. This area is designated as a Protected Wetland Area. Free time will be available for swimming in the springs.

After an 11-hour trip, we will return to Alicante.

Itinerary Adjustments

Between October 2024 and March 2025, the order will change: we will first visit Fuentes de Algar, followed by Guadalest and Altea. Rest stops will occur in Benidorm during the transfers from Alicante.
