Day Trip Details
We'll meet at the Exhibition Room of La Lonja del Pescado (Sala d'Exposició de la Llonja del Peix) to board a bus to Guadalest, traveling 60 km (37 mi) away from the Mediterranean. After about an hour, we will arrive at Fuentes del Algar, known for its spectacular waterfalls and biodiversity, designated as a Protected Wetland Area. You'll have free time to swim and enjoy the surroundings.
Next, we will tour the medieval village of Guadalest, including its San José Castle, baroque church, and Town Hall Square. Guadalest features several exhibitions such as the Museum of Microminiatures, Microgiant Museum, Salt and Pepper Shaker Museum, and Ethnological Museum, which you can visit during your free time.
We will then travel for half an hour to Altea, where we will explore the narrow cobbled streets in the historical center. Highlights include the white houses with flower-decorated balconies and Consuelo Church. After our walking tour, you will have free time to continue exploring, relax on the beach, or experience local cuisine with Mediterranean views.
After an 11-hour trip, we will return to Alicante.
