Játiva, Onteniente + Anna Day Trip

Join us for a day trip to Játiva, Onteniente, and Anna in the Valencia province of Spain. We will meet in front of the Exhibition Hall of the Lonja del Pescado (Fish Market) and depart from Alicante for a day of exploration in these towns.

After a 1.5-hour journey, we will arrive at Játiva castle, a historically significant Muslim fort located in the Sierra Vernissa. We will learn about its past, including its occupation by Romans and Arabs, and its strategic importance to the Aragonese crown.

Following the castle tour, we will proceed to Onteniente, where we will explore its highlights, including the Duchess of Almodovar's Palace and the Arab and Christian Museum. This town is known for its rich textile tradition and historical significance.

Next, we will visit Anna to see the Palace of the Counts of Cervellón, also referred to as the Alhambra of Valencia, noted for its intricate decor. After our visits, we will return to Alicante, concluding our day 7 hours later.
