Játiva, Onteniente + Anna Day Trip

Join us for a day trip to Játiva, Onteniente, and Anna, exploring the history of these towns in the Valencia province of Spain. We will meet in front of the Exhibition Hall of the Lonja del Pescado (Fish Market) in Alicante before departing for a day in the mountains of Valencia.

After a 1.5-hour journey, we will arrive at Játiva castle, a historically significant Muslim fort in Sierra Vernissa. The tour will cover the castle's past, including its occupation by Romans and Arabs, as well as its importance to the Aragonese crown.

Following the castle visit, we will proceed to Onteniente, where we will explore highlights such as the Duchess of Almodovar's Palace and the Arab and Christian Museum. The town's rich textile tradition will also be featured, emphasizing its historical significance.

Our next stop will be the town of Anna, where we will visit the Palace of the Counts of Cervellón, known as the Alhambra of Valencia, renowned for its intricate decor and architecture.

We will then board the bus for our return trip to Alicante, concluding the tour approximately 7 hours after departure.
