Villajoyosa & Altea Day Trip

At the specified time, we will depart from Alicante to Villajoyosa, a coastal town located just over half an hour from the provincial capital.

We will conduct a guided tour of Villajoyosa, experiencing the seafaring atmosphere of its old town and its colourful buildings. After taking photos along its scenic promenade, we will visit a chocolate factory in Alicante, learning about the techniques used by master chocolatiers. Villajoyosa has a notable cocoa tradition, stemming from its important commercial activity.

The tour continues along the Costa Blanca to the picturesque town of Altea. Here, we will find whitewashed streets and a striking blue dome, particularly the Church of Nuestra Señora del Consuelo, renowned for its upper dome referred to as "the dome of the Mediterranean".

In Altea, there will be some free time to explore the historical centre independently and enjoy lunch at traditional restaurants. In the afternoon, we will return directly to Alicante, with arrival at the starting point scheduled six hours after pickup.

Changes to the itinerary

On Sundays, we will not visit the chocolate factory due to its closure.
