On this solar boat ride on the Douro River, sail through Pinhão vineyards, one of the main wine-growing areas in northern Portugal, and taste two wines!
Douro River Cruise Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Rua da Praia de Pinhão dock to board a solar boat and enjoy a cruise along the Douro River.
As we sail, we'll navigate around Romaneira Point while taking in the landscapes of the centennial vineyards in the area. We'll see the walls of tall rock formations and some of the region's most important vineyards.
Throughout the trip, we'll enjoy a tasting of two wines produced at Adega de Favaios, one of the main wineries in this area. The tasting will be accompanied by almonds, during which we'll learn about the wines of the Douro Valley. An option for fresh grape juice is available if desired.
Lastly, we'll return to the departure dock, concluding the activity 1 hour later.
