Carrapateira Coastline Horse Riding Activity

The Carrapateira Coastline Horse Riding Activity offers a chance to connect with nature while riding along picturesque paths in the western Algarve. The adventure begins at the designated meeting point on Estrada da Praia.

Participants will first meet the horses and receive a brief introductory talk on proper riding techniques. After gaining familiarity with the horses, the riding will commence along quiet trails leading to the coast.

The ride lasts 1 hour as we journey along the seafront, taking in scenic sandy dunes that characterize the Algarve region. Throughout the activity, guides will highlight local flora and fauna and provide insights about various species found in the area.

In addition, riders will observe surfers enjoying the Atlantic waves, showcasing the region's appeal for water sports. The experience concludes with a return to the meeting point in Carrapateira.
