On this tour around the lavender fields in Brihuega, we will explore the picturesque landscapes of La Alcarria and visit a lavender distillery.

Lavender Fields

At the specified time, we will gather on the outskirts of Brihuega to commence the tour around lavender fields. Our visit will begin at the Brihuega lavender field, where we will learn about the growing conditions and annual care of this aromatic plant characteristic of the Guadalajara province. The guide will discuss the significance of lavender in Brihuega, allowing ample opportunities for photography amidst the purple fields. After the field tour, participants will follow the guide to a distiller in Cogollor.

At the distillery, we will gain insight into the extraction process of lavender essential oil while enjoying the fragrance of the flowers. The tour concludes with a gift made with lavender, serving as a memorable souvenir from Brihuega.

This visit to the lavender fields lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour. Including the distillery visit, the entire tour duration is 1.5 hours.
