Brihuega Lavender Fields + Distillery Tour

On this tour around the lavender fields in Brihuega, we'll discover picturesque landscapes in La Alcarria and visit a lavender distillery.

Lavender Fields

At the designated time, we will meet on the outskirts of Brihuega to start the tour. We will commence at the Brihuega lavender field, exploring the secrets of this aromatic plant characteristic of the region in Guadalajara. The guide will explain the conditions necessary for lavender growth and the annual care required.

The importance of lavender in Brihuega will be discussed, and participants will have the opportunity to take photos while strolling through the purple fields. Following the visit, you will travel by car to a distillery in Cogollor, guided by the tour leader.

At the distillery, we will learn about the extraction process of lavender essential oil, surrounded by the scent of the flowers. The tour concludes with a gift made from lavender, providing a memorable souvenir from Brihuega.

This visit to the lavender fields lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour. Including the visit to the distillery, the total duration is 1.5 hours.
