Our adventure begins at the designated meeting point at the entrance of Bodegas Romale winery in Almendralejo, where a guided exploration of this contemporary wine and cava-producing estate awaits.

Almendralejo serves as the hub of the Tierra de Barros region within Extremadura, an area boasting ideal terrain for viticulture characterized by nutrient-rich red clay soils. The Badajoz climate, with its intense summers and cold winters, further enhances the growing conditions for top-quality grapes.

We will explore the cutting-edge facilities of Bodegas Romale, one of Extremadura's most forward-thinking wineries. Here, you will discover the production process behind their acclaimed Tempranillo D.O. Ribera del Guadiana wine, utilizing state-of-the-art techniques such as the innovative Ganymede system.

As part of our tour, we’ll navigate through the wine storage areas and deposit rooms. It's fascinating to note that this winery boasts a storage capacity of up to 18 million liters.
