Travel around the landscapes of Almeria in an all-terrain vehicle and discover the environmental richness of its extraordinary natural areas with this Cabo de Gata Salt Flats & Wetlands 4x4 Tour.

Cabo de Gata Salt Flats & Wetlands 4x4 Tour

We'll meet at Cabo de Gata Beach and board our classic 80s 4x4 vehicle to start our tour of Cabo de Gata salt flats and wetlands. During the tour, we'll see some advertisements and film scenes shot in this area of Almeria.

We'll visit the salt flats of Cabo de Gata, known for their productive value and the variety of bird species residing in the wetlands of Cabo de Gata and its surroundings. Shortly after, we'll arrive at San Miguel Beach. The route will take us by the dunes of Cabo de Gata, where the film Lawrence of Arabia was shot, and the mining town of Las Salinas.

The journey will continue past the Sirenas Reef and the lighthouse of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park. We'll stop at the Vela Blanca viewpoint for photo opportunities and, in summer, the option for a swim. Our return will take us through the interior of the salt flats, passing by an abandoned farmhouse.

Finally, we'll conclude the activity at the starting point.
