Next, visit the Cathedral of the Incarnation, originally constructed as a fortress and place of worship in the 16th century. You'll also see the Virgin of the Sea sanctuary and learn about both temples.

Transitioning to fine art, you'll see the Escuela de Artes y Oficio and then the Teatro Cervantes, associated with numerous legends.

Just a five-minute walk away is the Doña Pakita Art Museum, showcasing Almerian works from the 19th and 20th centuries.

To conclude the tour, relax in Parque de Nicolás Salmerón, located between the port and historic centre, before ending at the iconic Cable Inglés loading dock, an example of 20th-century cast-iron architecture linking the port and railway terminal.
