Fishing in Alta Fjord

Are you a fishing fanatic and find yourself travelling around Norway? Then this fishing activity on the Altafjord is perfect for you, Cast your line and see what you can catch!

Description

On the day of the activity, at the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Fiskerihavna (fishing harbour) in Alta. This tour will allow you to disconnect from daily life stress.

After organizing the equipment, we'll receive a brief introduction and safety chat before heading out onto the calm waters of the Altafjord. Fishing on a fjord provides a calmer experience than the coastline.

We will fish for native Norwegian species such as cod, coalfish, haddock, redfish, and Atlantic halibut. Crew members can accommodate special requests and set up specific equipment for you. You may also bring your own equipment.

You'll have the opportunity to catch your own dinner; any fish you want can be gutted and prepared by the captain. Light snacks, tea, coffee, and water will be available during the activity.

After approximately 4 hours, this fishing experience will conclude back at the starting point. Vi sees snart!
