We'll meet at your selected time at the São Gonçalo Church to begin our guided tour of Amarante. During the tour, we'll explore the history of this Portuguese city.

Amarante, home to the Tâmega River and the iconic São Gonzçalo Monastery, is rich in culture and heritage.

Throughout the tour, we'll enter the São Gonçalo Church and navigate through the city's streets and alleys, discovering its main monuments and intriguing stories and legends. You'll learn about notable figures like Antonio do Lago Cerqueira and Amadeo de Souza Cardoso.
