Join us for a tour of the châteaux of Villandry and Azay-le-Rideau, along with a winery visit and wine tasting.

Tour of Chateaux de Villandry & Azay-le-Rideau + Loire Winery

At the scheduled time, we will meet at your chosen meeting point to begin the tour of the Loire Valley. First, we'll visit the Château d'Azay-le-Rideau, located on the Indra River. Here, we will learn about its history and construction, noted as a prime example of the French Renaissance. We'll explore significant rooms and gardens and discuss key historical events.

Next, our excursion continues to the Château de Villandry, where we'll walk through its gardens and gather interesting facts about the fortress. We'll ascend to the viewpoints for scenic views of the Loire Valley.

You will then have one hour of free time for lunch, with recommendations provided by the guide. After lunch, we will visit a family-owned local winery to tour its vineyards and learn about Loire Valley winemaking, followed by a wine tasting.

The tour will conclude at the starting point after 9 hours of activities.
