Amsterdam Private Layover Tour

Make the most of your layover at Amsterdam airport and discover the city with this private tour. If your layover exceeds 8 hours, you can also visit Zaanse Schans, Volendam, Marken, or Edam.

Tour Details

The Amsterdam Layover Tour is private, including a vehicle, driver, and English speaking guide from airport pick up to return drop off. We will hold a sign with your name at the arrivals terminal, and depending on your arrival time, you can choose an itinerary. Customization of the itinerary is available.

3-Hour Tour

You will have 3 hours to explore major sights in Amsterdam such as Museumplein, the Anne Frank House, Dam Square, or the Royal Palace of Amsterdam.

6-Hour Tour

This option allows for 6 hours in Amsterdam, including a visit to a Dutch countryside village like Zaanse Schans or Volendam.

8-Hour Tour

If you have a longer layover, enjoy 8 hours in Amsterdam plus visits to two towns, choosing between Zaanse Schans, Marken, Volendam, or Edam.

Visit Keukenhof

Keukenhof is one of the most famous parks in The Netherlands, especially recommended in spring due to the tulip displays across 72 acres (32 hectares). Visits are available between March 20 and May 11 if your layover is over 10 hours, allowing for both Amsterdam and Keukenhof.

Important Information

The tours are flexible but available at specific times:

3-hour tour: arrivals between 8 am and 4 pm.6-hour tour: arrivals between 8 am and 2 pm.8-hour tour: arrivals between 8 am and 12 pm.

Layover Times

Note that the journey to and from the airport takes about 1.5 hours and you must be at the airport at least 2 hours before departure. Thus, tour duration is 4 hours less than your layover; for a 3-hour tour, a minimum layover of 7 hours is recommended.
