The De Hoge Veluwe National Park is one of the Netherlands' natural treasures. Discover its plants and wildlife on this trip from Amsterdam.
Description
We'll meet at 8 am at De Ruijterkade Oost in Amsterdam and set off on a one-hour journey to De Hoge Veluwe National Park. During the guided tour, we'll see wildlife such as wild boar, deer, wolves, foxes, and snakes, and learn about the park's diverse plants, which include hundreds of botanical species.
You will have 2 hours of free time to refuel or visit the Kröller-Müller Museum, which contains the second-largest collection of Van Gogh's works globally. Additionally, you can opt for a bike ride around the National Park.
We'll return to the starting point at approximately 2 pm.
Museums
Within De Hoge Veluwe National Park, there are two museums: the Kröller-Müller Museum and the Jachthuis Sint Hubertus, designed by architect Hendrik Petrus Berlage. If you prefer to visit one of these museums instead of touring De Hoge Veluwe, you may do so at no extra cost; just inform the driver on the day of the tour.
