Wadden Sea Cruise and Seal Safari

Meet at the Amsterdam River Cruise Dock and take a vehicle to the coast of the Wadden Sea. This 90-minute bus trip showcases Holland's rural beauty with farms, villas, and windmills.

Upon arrival, board a ship for a 3-hour boat trip on the Frisian Sea. The area, recognized as a World Heritage Site, serves as a refuge for various marine mammals, including seals and porpoises, due to its unique coastal wetlands and tidal systems.

The Wadden Sea, designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, also acts as a critical stop for millions of migratory birds. The calm sea features minimal wave risk. During the cruise, sail along the levee that protects the lowlands from flooding.

The boat trip concludes at the same harbor. Once back on land, explore the picturesque 17th-century village of Twisk, where you can stroll its narrow streets, visit the windmill, brewery, castle, shop, or dine.

Finally, depart from Medemblik and return to Amsterdam, concluding a 6-hour journey.
