Guided Tour

The tour meets at the indicated time in the center of Amsterdam, where we'll board our bus on the way to visit the famous windmills of Zaanse Schans and Westerland.

Zaanse Schans is known for its windmills used in oil, paint, mustard, and paper production. You can visit some of these windmills to see how they function.

The area also features a clog workshop, showcasing traditional footwear still appreciated today.

Next, we visit the town of Edam, known for its cheese. Here, we'll tour a dairy farm and sample the cheese.

We then proceed to Volendam, known for its vibrant atmosphere and fishing port. You will have free time to explore and eat.

Afterwards, we visit Marken, a rural fishing village characterized by its green landscape and traditional wooden houses.

Finally, we return to Amsterdam 6 to 8 hours after departure.

Guided Tour + Windmill Visit & Boat Ride

This option includes everything from the previous tour, plus additional experiences. In Zaanse Schans, you'll visit a working windmill, and after Volendam, you will take a boat ride to Marken on the Volendam Marken Express for picturesque views of the coastline.
