At midday, we'll meet at the jetty of the former historic NDSM shipyard in Amsterdam. The boat will take us from Amsterdam to the picturesque windmill village of Zaanse Schans.

We'll sail through Amsterdam's port area, the second largest in the Netherlands, then enter the Zaan River and pass the town of Zaandam. During the cruise, we'll see old warehouses and factories that highlight the waterway's historical significance.

As we approach Zaanse Schans, glimpses of the typical Dutch windmills will be visible. We'll dock in Zaanse Schans, providing you with two hours of free time to explore the area.

Wooden houses, barns, traditional clog workshops, and hundreds of windmills make Zaanse Schans a notable site, resembling an open-air museum dedicated to the Netherlands' pre-industrial past.

At 4 pm, we'll reconvene at the dock in Zaanse Schans for our return trip to Amsterdam. The excursion concludes at 6 pm back at the departure pier.
