Visiting the Netherlands and interested in windmills? At your preferred time, head to Overhoeksplein 51 in Amsterdam. After a short 30-minute drive, we will arrive at Zaanse Schans. Here, you can stroll among famous windmills and traditional wooden houses from the 17th and 18th centuries. Before you start exploring, we provide a map and details to enhance your visit, followed by 2 hours of free time to discover the village.

During your visit, stop by the Bakery Museum, a national monument. Here, you can purchase traditional Dutch sweets and view an authentic historic oven. Learn about the history of the wood carving above the shop door, which the museum is named after.

Additionally, you'll visit a Dutch clog workshop to see how these iconic shoes are made and a cheese factory for a cheese tasting.

Conclude the day with a river stroll, lined with traditional windmills from the 18th and 19th centuries. After your visit, we will return to Amsterdam, concluding the experience 3 hours later.
