Can you imagine going from one ocean to another by crossing the Panama Canal? On this trip, we'll traverse the locks of one of the most impressive engineering feats in the world.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Flamenco Marina, where we'll board a boat to begin our cruise on the Panama Canal, sailing from the Pacific Ocean into the Atlantic.

Before we set off, enjoy a light breakfast aboard the boat. Our first stop will be the Bridge of the Americas, which connects North and Central America with South America. Along the route, we'll see the Panama City skyscrapers.

Halfway through the boat ride, we'll take a break for lunch. Afterward, we will pass through the Miraflores lock, which lifts the boat to the highest level of the Canal at Gatún Lake. Next, we'll navigate through the Pedro Miguel lock and see the entrance to the Chagres River, the fresh water source of the Panama Canal.

We will traverse Gatún Lake, covering 425 square kilometers, home to many islands, including Isla de los Monos and Barro Colorado.

After this journey through the locks, we'll arrive at the city of Colón on the Caribbean coast of Panama, where we'll take a bus back to Flamenco Marina.

We will conclude our trip at Flamenco Marina after a total of 11 hours together.
