Can you imagine going from one ocean to another by crossing the Panama Canal? On this trip, we'll traverse the locks of one of the most impressive engineering feats in the world.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Flamenco Marina, where we'll board a boat for a cruise through the Panama Canal, sailing from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean.

Before departing, enjoy a light breakfast aboard the boat. Our first stop will be the Bridge of the Americas, which connects North and Central America with South America. This stop offers views of the islands that protect the Canal and the Panama City skyscrapers.

Halfway through the ride, we'll have a lunch break and then pass through the Miraflores lock, which raises the boat to the level of Gatún Lake. Following this, we'll navigate through the Pedro Miguel lock and witness the entrance to the Chagres River, the Canal's freshwater source.

We will also traverse Gatún Lake, covering 425 square kilometres (162 square miles) and featuring islands like Isla de los Monos and Barro Colorado.

After navigating the locks, we'll reach the city of Colón on the Caribbean coast, where we will catch a bus for our return to Flamenco Marina, concluding a total of 11 hours together.
