Explore the captivating sights of select quaint villages in Andorra through this journey in the Ordino Valley.
Description
Your adventure begins as we meet at your chosen location, where a comfortable air-conditioned bus will be waiting to take us through the stunning landscapes of the Ordino Valley.
Our first destination is the striking Miniature Museum, home to an exquisite array of micro-miniatures crafted from gold, platinum, paper, fruit seeds, and more, all meticulously designed by the Ukrainian artist Nicolai Siadristy.
Following this, we will venture to the village of La Cortinada, where we will appreciate the remarkable frescoes located within the Romanesque Church of Sant Martí de la Cortinada. We will then continue our exploration deeper into the Ordino Valley, reaching the village of Llorts, the starting point of the iconic Iron Route.
During our walking segment along this route, we will delve into the significance of the metallurgical industry in Andorra up until the late 19th century and encounter a collection of modern sculptures that reflect this industrial heritage. Afterward, we will return to the bus and make our way to the Bringué Hotel for a delightful lunch.
Revitalized, we will ascend to the Castellar Bridge, where we can marvel at one of the most picturesque mountain vistas in the region before concluding our tour and returning to your original meeting point, with drop-off scheduled between 4 pm and 4:45 pm.
