On the day of your tour, meet your guide at the arranged time in the car park of the L'Imperatore Restaurant, located on the outskirts of the Castel del Monte. From there, you'll use the dedicated transport service to reach the entrance of this imposing fortress.

During your private tour of the Castel del Monte, or Castle of the Mountain, you will learn about the history and origins of the citadel, built in the mid-13th century by Holy Roman Emperor Frederick II. The fortress features a unique geometrical shape and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

At the end of your guided tour, you'll have the opportunity to admire the magnificent panoramic views over the Alta Murgia National Park before returning to your original meeting point.
