Why Visit Angers Castle?

Built by the Counts of Anjou in the Middle Ages, Angers Castle showcases 17 defensive towers and a moat. Your ticket allows access to the towers and battlements. The castle also features medieval gardens and the chapel of St. John the Baptist with sacred art. The main highlight is the Apocalypse Tapestry, which is 20 feet high and 350 feet long, depicting the Apocalypse of Saint John.

Free Admission

Admission is free for:

Young people from the European Union aged 18 to 25.Children under 18 years old, regardless of nationality.

Additionally, free admission is offered on the first Sunday of the month from January to March and November to December, as well as on the third weekend of September. To access free admission, present a certifying document at the ticket office.
