On this tour, we'll explore the town of Abraão, Preta Beach, and the Ilha Grande Aqueduct, along with a chance to swim in a natural pool.

Tour Ilha Grande

Meet us in front of the São Sebastião Church to begin our walking tour through the history and nature of Ilha Grande.

Our tour starts in the village of Abraão, where we will learn about the island's first inhabitants through commemorative plaques. These plaques provide information on their historical significance and the roles of Ilha Grande and Angra dos Reis in Brazil's history.

Next, we will head towards Preta Beach, known for its black sand and the remains of the Lazareto, a 19th-century quarantine hospital.

Our final stop will be the Ilha Grande Aqueduct and a natural swimming pool, where participants can sunbathe, observe birds, or take a swim. Legend suggests that those who swim here will return to the island.

After enjoying the waters, we will return to our meeting point, concluding the tour about 2 hours after the start.
