We will convene at the São Sebastião Church, where our engaging walking tour will commence, inviting you to delve into the fascinating history and vibrant flora of Ilha Grande.

The adventure begins in the village of Abraão, allowing you to journey back through approximately 3,000 years of history. As we walk, informative plaques will illuminate the legacy of the island's earliest inhabitants and their significant contributions, as well as the role of Ilha Grande and Angra dos Reis within the broader narrative of Brazilian history.

Next, we shift our focus to the area of Preta Beach, known for its unique black sand beaches and the historical remains of the Lazareto, which served as a quarantine hospital in the 19th century.

Our exploration culminates with a visit to the Ilha Grande Aqueduct and a chance to experience a natural swimming pool. This peaceful spot offers perfect opportunities for sunbathing, observing local birds, or enjoying a revitalizing swim.
