Tour Highlights

At the designated time, we'll gather at the Santa Luzia Station in Angra dos Reis to begin our hiking adventure along a segment of the Mata Atlântica train's historic tracks. This mode of transportation was crucial in the 1990s, and we'll discuss its significance.

During the 45-minute hike, we will walk to the village of Vale da Banqueta. As we traverse the Mata Atlântica landscape, we'll share interesting anecdotes about this once-popular route.

Along the Mata Atlântica Greenway, the trail includes various tunnels, which showcase the area's lush vegetation. Experience the cascading water from the tunnel walls that creates a fountain-like effect.

The trail leads us to a bridge with several arches and a small waterfall with pools, ideal for a refreshing dip.

After exploring the area, we will return to the meeting point, concluding the 5-hour hiking experience.
