Nuclear Observatory & Southern Tourist Route Tour

On this nuclear observatory tour, we'll see Brazil's only nuclear power plants alongside some of the most beautiful beaches in Angra dos Reis.

Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at Cais Santa Luzia to begin this tour of Angra dos Reis's surroundings.

Our first stop will be the Angra Nuclear Power Plant, which consists of two nuclear reactors, Angra 1 and Angra 2. This site provides information about how nuclear reactors generate electricity.

Additionally, we will learn about the history of nuclear energy in Brazil and its relationship with society and the environment. You'll engage with informative videos, models, and interactive panels. After exploring the observatory, you'll have a chance to take pictures during a coffee break.

Following this, we'll commence our tour of the Southern Tourist Route in Angra dos Reis to relax on idyllic beaches.

The first beach we will visit is Praia do Laboratório, near the power plants, where we'll take a short walk and have free time to enjoy its warm waters.

Next, we will stop at Praia Brava, which has rough seas on one side and a more tranquil area on the other. You'll have the opportunity to walk along the boardwalk and grab a bite to eat.

Finally, after 5 to 6 hours, we'll return to our initial meeting point to conclude the tour.
