Pico do Papagaio Sunrise Hike

At the scheduled time, we'll meet next to the São Sebastião Church to begin our hiking route through the forest to Pico do Papagaio. This tour offers a unique experience in the midst of nature on Ilha Grande.

The hike will last around 6 hours, allowing us to appreciate the flora and fauna characteristic of the Atlantic Rainforest. The first 3 hours will take us to the summit of Pico do Papagaio, standing 980 metres (3,215 ft.) above sea level, which is the second-highest point on the island.

We will make stops for rest and hydration as we progress towards the summit. Upon arrival, we will experience the morning sunlight illuminating the landscape of Ilha Grande, providing stunning views.

At the summit, you'll have an hour and a half of free time to savor the experience and capture photos, with views including the famous Pedra da Gávea in Rio de Janeiro.

After enjoying the summit, we will begin our descent back to the meeting point, concluding the tour after approximately 8 hours.
