Description
At the time indicated, we'll meet at Passage Notre Dame to start this private tour in Annecy. We'll explore the secrets of the capital of Haute-Savoie.
Annecy is known as the Venice of the French Alps. We'll start a route around the city's beautiful old town, walking through the narrow cobblestone streets and observing the pastel-coloured houses while crossing its many canals.
During the private tour, we'll share the history of Annecy and pass by the Palais de l'Ile, known as the old prison, and Palais de Justice, now the History Museum in Annecy. Near this 12th-century building, you'll find Rue Sainte-Claire, a street with many arched houses.
We'll continue the tour in the upper part of the city, where the Château d'Annecy is located, the former residence of the Counts of Geneva and the Dukes of Nemours. The tour will conclude with a stroll along the shores of the lake.
After 1.5 hours, we'll end our private tour at the initial meeting point.
