Altinbesik Cave, Avasun and Ürünlü Tour
At 8.30 am we will pick you up from your hotel in Side and explore traditional villages in the Anatolian peninsula and Altinbesik Cave.
Our first stop will be Avasun, known as the 'laurel village'. We will discover its history and customs before ascending 1200 meters (3937 ft) above sea level to enjoy views of the Green Canyon, the Green Lake, and Manavgat.
Next, we will visit Ürünlü, famous for its button houses. Our guide will explain their significance before we relax in a local café for tea or coffee.
We will then proceed to Altinbesik Cave. Here, we will board a boat to explore this natural wonder, which houses the largest underground lake in Turkey.
Following a 20-minute boat ride, we will have a full traditional meal at a restaurant in Ormana. After lunch, we will visit Sarihacilar to admire an Ottoman mosque over 650 years old.
The tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel in Side at 4.30 pm.
