Torcal de Antequera Hiking Trip

At the indicated time on the day of your hike, meet your guide at the Torcal Alto Visitor Center. From there, we'll begin a hiking route through the nature reserve of Torcal de Antequera.

You'll start the hiking route on the Ammonites Route. Accompanied by your expert English-speaking guide, you'll learn about the origins of the unique rock formations that have garnered this natural park recognition as one of Europe's most spectacular karst landscapes and a place on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Throughout the 4.5-kilometer (2.8-mile) hiking route, you'll encounter various natural wonders, admiring El Torcal's rugged geology, flora, and fauna, including local wildlife such as Spanish ibex.

You will also have opportunities to take photos from the numerous panoramic viewpoints along the hiking paths in Torcal de Antequera.

The hiking trip will conclude back at the starting point, approximately three and a half hours after departure.
