Altamira Viewpoint Hike

On this activity, we'll hike to the Altamira viewpoint and enjoy the views from the Mano de Oro, experiencing the landscape of Antigua Guatemala.

Description

At the indicated time, we will pick you up from your hotel in central Antigua Guatemala. We will visit the Altamira viewpoint, located in the hills of the city. En route, we will traverse dirt paths through vegetation leading to this high point.

We will walk up the hillside to the viewpoint known as the Mano de Oro (Golden Hand), which allows for stunning views of the region. You will have free time to climb onto the Mano de Oro and take scenic pictures.

The tour will conclude with a snack at the restaurant of the Altamira viewpoint, after which we will walk back to central Antigua Guatemala.

Return Transport

The tour will be conducted on foot, covering around 6 kilometers (3.72 miles). An option is available for return transport by minibus if desired.
