Altamira Viewpoint Hike

On this activity, we'll hike to the Altamira viewpoint and enjoy the views from the Mano de Oro - the expansive landscape of Antigua Guatemala.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in the centre of Antigua Guatemala. We will visit the Altamira viewpoint, located in the hills of Antigua. En route, we'll traverse dirt paths surrounded by vegetation leading to this high point.

We'll walk up the hillside to the viewpoint known as the Mano de Oro (Golden Hand), a well-known location in the region. This viewpoint is shaped like a hand and provides access to views of the surrounding area. We'll allow some free time to take scenic pictures at Mano de Oro.

The tour concludes with a snack at the Altamira viewpoint restaurant, after which we will walk back to the centre of Antigua Guatemala.

Pickup

This activity includes pick-up from hotels in the centre of Antigua Guatemala. If you're staying further away, we'll collect you at the scheduled time at the following meeting point: Section F, San Pedro el Panorama, Guatemala 03001, Guatemala.

Return Transport

The tour will be conducted on foot, covering approximately 6 kilometres (3.72 miles). If you prefer, you can select the option that includes return transport by minibus.
