Altamira Viewpoint Hike

On this activity, we'll hike to the Altamira viewpoint and enjoy the views from the Mano de Oro - a landscape of Antigua Guatemala.

Description

At the indicated time, we will pick you up from your hotel in the centre of Antigua Guatemala. Prepare to visit one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city!

We'll leave the city centre behind and head towards the Altamira viewpoint, located in the hills of Antigua Guatemala. En route, we'll traverse dirt paths surrounded by vegetation leading to this high point.

We'll walk uphill to the viewpoint known as the Mano de Oro (Golden Hand) - a notable location in the region! This viewpoint is in the shape of a hand, providing access to stunning views. We will allow some free time to climb onto the Mano de Oro and take scenic pictures.

The tour concludes with a snack at the restaurant of the Altamira viewpoint, after which we will walk back down to the centre of Antigua Guatemala.

The entirety of the tour will be done on foot, covering approximately 6 kilometres (3.72 miles). If you prefer, you can select the option that includes return transport by minibus.
