Enchiladas, tamales.... Delight in the exotic flavors of Guatemalan cuisine on this food tour of Antigua Guatemala.

Food Tour Details

At the specified time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Antigua Guatemala to explore the colonial city for its authentic flavors. The first stop is in San Felipe, where you will enjoy atol, a chuchito, and a typical sweet. The atol de elote is a hot drink made from ground corn, milk, cinnamon, and sugar. The chuchitos are small corn dough tamales filled with meat and tomato sauce. The stop will conclude with a typical regional sweet.

Next, we will visit La Merced church to taste Guatemalan enchiladas, which are fried tortillas with beetroot, ground meat, and vegetables, garnished with hard-boiled egg and parsley, accompanied by a refreshing drink.

The tour ends in Santa Ana, where you can choose between a shuco or a búfalo. The shuco, a Guatemalan hot dog, includes sausage, guacamole, cabbage, mayonnaise, and mustard. The El Búfalo is a large loaf of bread filled with beans, meat, cabbage, and a special dressing.

After 3 hours of sightseeing, we will return you to your hotel in Antigua Guatemala.
