Enchiladas, tamales.... Delight in the exotic flavors of Guatemalan cuisine on this food tour of Antigua Guatemala.

Food Tour Details

At the designated time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Antigua Guatemala to begin our exploration of the city’s authentic flavors.

Our first stop will be in San Felipe, where you will taste a delicious atol, a chuchito, and a typical sweet. The atol de elote is a hot drink made from ground corn, milk, cinnamon, and sugar. The chuchitos are small tamales filled with meat and topped with tomato sauce, and a typical sweet will complete your tasting experience.

Next, we will visit La Merced church to savor the unique Guatemalan enchiladas, which feature fried tortillas topped with beetroot, ground meat, and vegetables, garnished with hard-boiled egg and parsley. A refreshing drink will accompany this dish.

Our tour will conclude in Santa Ana, where you can choose between a shuco or a búfalo. The shuco is a local hot dog variant, while the El Búfalo is a large bread filled with beans, meat, cabbage, and a secret sauce.

After 3 hours of tasting and sightseeing, we will return you to your hotel in Antigua Guatemala.
