Antigua Guatemala Guided Walking Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Calle Oriente and begin exploring by foot the historic streets of this city that was the capital of Guatemala for two hundred years.

We'll tour this ancient colonial city accompanied by a guide who will share stories about Antigua Guatemala. We'll start at the church of La Merced and proceed to the Arch of Santa Catalina, a notable landmark along with the convent cloister and the church's nave.

Our next stop will be at the Parque Central, a central square and popular meeting place. Important buildings lining the square include the City Hall, the Church of San José (formerly the Cathedral of Guatemala), the Archbishop's Palace, and the Portal del Comercio, historically significant for shopping in Antigua Guatemala. The final stop will be at the Tanque de la Unión, used during colonial times for public laundry.

At the end of our walking tour of Antigua Guatemala, we'll return to the meeting point, concluding our three-hour tour.
