At the time indicated, we'll meet at the designated meeting point to start this tour around the museums in Antigua, Guatemala. We'll learn about this historic city and its different ages through its cultural institutions.
Firstly, we'll visit the Colonial Art Museum, which features a collection of artistic pieces from the 16th to the 18th century. The focus will be on paintings and sculptures with religious themes and in the baroque style.
Then, we'll head to MUNAG, which holds national treasures from pre-Hispanic, colonial and republican times. After exploring its various rooms, we'll visit the Holy Week Museum, which showcases one of the most important traditions in Guatemala, featuring architectural and decorative items.
After this museum tour, we'll go to a local restaurant to enjoy a typical Guatemalan lunch.
