Antigua Guatemala & Villages Tour

We will meet at Oriente Street to start our exploration of Antigua Guatemala. The tour begins with a walk through the historic centre, highlighting key sites including the Church of La Merced, the Arch of Santa Catalina, and the Conventual Cloister.

We will proceed to Central Park to see the Town Hall, the Church of San José, the Archbishop's Palace, and the Portal del Comercio. Our next destination is the Tanque de la Unión, previously used for public washing, where we will learn about its historical significance.

After exploring the historic centre, there's a lunch break on your own before continuing to surrounding colonial villages. Our first visit will be to San Antonio Aguas Calientes, where we will discuss important historical events that occurred in the area.

Next, we will go to a macadamia farm in San Miguel Dueñas, followed by visits to Ciudad Vieja and San Juan del Obispo, where we will delve into the colonial culture of the region.

The tour lasts for eight and a half hours, concluding at the meeting point in Antigua Guatemala.
