Day Trip Details

After picking you up from your hotel in Antigua Guatemala, we will head to Auto Safari Chapín in Escuintla. This location is one of the most important wildlife conservation projects in Guatemala.

Upon arrival, we'll take a short break before embarking on a vehicle tour of Auto Safari Chapín. During the ride, we will discuss the conservation efforts in place for the animals, many of which have been rescued from circuses and other forms of captivity. The park houses over 90 species including lions, jaguars, zebras, giraffes, monkeys, wild boar, hundreds of reptiles, and thousands of native birds. After the tour, we will walk around to see animals from a closer perspective.

Afterward, we will visit the break area to enjoy a lunch, choosing between a burger, hot dog, fillet of chicken, or Guatemalan barbecue. Finally, we will return to your hotel in Antigua Guatemala, completing a total of 12 hours for the trip.
