Day Trip to El Paredón Beach + Surf Lesson

Tour Details

After picking you up from your hotel in Antigua, we'll leave the colonial city behind and make our way to the Pacific Coast. We will arrive at the coastal town of El Paredón in approximately 2 hours, where we will head to the hotel in front of the beach, granting you access to its facilities for the entire day.

After settling in, we will grab our surfboards and meet our instructor for a surf lesson that includes a brief theory lesson on the distinctive waves of El Paredón. You will learn how to catch waves, stand on the board, maintain balance, and how to fall in the water. After the lesson, you will practice in the water, as the Pacific Coast near El Paredón is known as one of the best places to learn how to surf.

After your surf lesson, we will return to the hotel restaurant for a delicious breakfast. You will have access to the hotel facilities for the rest of the day and may continue practicing with your surfboard as desired. We will then start our journey back and drop you off at your hotel in Antigua Guatemala 12 hours after the start of our day trip.
