Day Trip to El Paredón Beach + Surf Lesson

Spend an unforgettable day and learn how to surf with this day trip to El Paredón Beach, the town with the most surf spirit in Guatemala!

Tour Details

After picking you up from your hotel in Antigua, we'll leave the colonial city and head to the Pacific Coast. After approximately 2 hours, we'll arrive at the coastal town of El Paredón in Buena Vista. We'll then go to the hotel in front of the beach to access its facilities for the entire day.

Once settled, we'll grab surfboards and meet our instructor for the surf lesson, which includes a brief theory lesson on the distinctive waves of El Paredón. You'll learn to catch waves, stand on your board, maintain balance, and how to fall safely. After the lesson, you'll practice in the water, which is recognized as a great place to learn to surf.

Once finished surfing, we'll return to the hotel restaurant for a delicious breakfast. You will have access to the hotel facilities throughout the day and can continue practicing on your surfboard. We will then begin our journey back, dropping you off at your hotel in Antigua Guatemala 12 hours after starting the trip.
