Explore beautiful Lake Atitlán on this tour from Antigua Guatemala: enjoy a boat trip from Panajachel to San Juan La Laguna and discover the region's indigenous cultures.
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Antigua Guatemala and head to Panajachel, a town with deeply rooted indigenous traditions.
In Panajachel, we'll board a boat for a cruise across Lake Atitlán. Admire the views of the Tolimán, Atitlán, and San Pedro volcanoes towering over the lake.
The boat trip will take us to San Juan La Laguna, where we will observe the Tz?utujil people's traditional way of life. Learn about the typical products and crafts made in the region, including vividly colored tunics embroidered with animals and flowers.
After exploring San Juan La Laguna, we'll return to Panajachel by boat. Here, you'll have free time to eat or explore the streets at your own pace.
Following a 10-hour tour, we will conclude back at the meeting point in Antigua Guatemala.
