Description
At the scheduled time, pickup will be from your hotel in Antigua Guatemala, followed by travel to Panajachel, where indigenous traditions are prevalent.
Upon arrival in Panajachel, you will board a boat for a cruise across Lake Atitlán, renowned for its beauty. Enjoy views of the Tolimán, Atitlán, and San Pedro volcanoes surrounding the lake.
The boat trip will take you to San Juan La Laguna, where you will explore the Tz?utujil people's traditional way of life. This group is one of 21 Maya ethnic communities in Guatemala. You will learn about the typical products and crafts of the region, such as colorful embroidered tunics.
After touring San Juan La Laguna, you will return to Panajachel by boat. Here, enjoy free time for lunch or to explore local streets at your own pace.
After approximately 10 hours, the tour will conclude back at the meeting point in Antigua Guatemala.
